Between Feb 15-17th PHS 8 set off for their Unity and Adventure camp. This camp is designed to encourage students to work in teams to overcome challenges – some require physical activity, others patience, some mental challenges, some creative, all require teamwork, communication and support.

As they worked their way around the island of Ko Si Chang, the students undertook different challenges, including kayaking across the bay, hiking the highest hill, fishing, cooking, creating beach art or, the newest activity, building rafts and the most popular, and by far the most challenging – the cliff climb.

Students threw themselves into the challenges, with each group producing excellent work; working together and showing real resilience and unity.
Lots of fun, hard work, excitement and energy, PHS 8 completed their time at PHS successfully. Completing all challenges, and incredibly a 100% completion of the cliff climb.

As they set off on their individual journeys to different universities, they have developed skills and confidence to overcome new challenges that they may face. They have also been united as PHS 8 on their last trip with PHS.
